FAQ

A box lens is a large broadcast zoom lens used at fixed camera positions for live sport, concerts and major events. Its very long zoom range lets one camera cover everything from a full-venue wide shot to a tight close-up from a long distance.

A 4K camera can only resolve as much detail as its lens delivers. UHD box lenses hold 4K detail across the full zoom range, which matters for UHD broadcasts, high-resolution IMAG screens and content reframed for social media.

The Canon Digisuper lenses are supplied with Mushroom Motion's own operators, so they are set up, run and packed down by people who know them.
